I picked one of these up Wednesday at a great price. It's been a great shooter so far. Not a pic of mine, just a stock photo.

I bought my son and grandson a slightly used Golden Boy a couple of years ago, and they love it. Man, that thing is a great shooter.... should last a couple of generations at least!

I bought the carbine model to give to the grand sons some day and enjoy shooting it. I was disappointed to learn that the barrel band was plastic. I inderstand that Henry has a steel replacement but I haven't pursued it.

I also have a Henry lever 22, I love it and shoot it often in the backyard. The target is a Gamo MTS 1000, the first gun is a Beeman Vulcan .177 and the second is the Henry with Super Colibri rounds, I think it's quieter than the air gun.

Took the Golden Boy out this weekend. What a great shooter. I shot 22lr and 22shorts through it. The 22shorts were quieter then Corey's bb gun that he brought. I like it a lot. I like shooting this more then my Marlin 60 or 10/22.
I like it so much, that Im going to pick up another. Fella on the AGO board found a Henry standard lever action under his Grandson's bed that everyone had forgotten about. It's been under there for 8 years or so. Needs a little TLC, but the price is right!!
I'll probably use the standard for everyday plinking and use the Golden Boy as a purdy range gun!!
