Last night, 1/1/2010 a in the area of Collin Creek Mall, I heard 4 shots fired in less than 5s. Does anyone one know what happened?

We heard shot-like noises that afternoon which turned out to be bottle rockets. Late celebrants, one assumes.

I think it depends on brand, bullet weight, etc.
I've got some handloads that go "BANG, BANG" but as you can tell from the all caps they must be +p.
