Went to Fortworth gun show today looking for a Micro Desert eagle for a BUG or when it's a 110 outside and I'm wearing as little as possible. Found one and picked it up. I didn't like it. Felt out of balance very top heavy and I could only get 2 fingers on the grip. I was bummed that the little 380 wasn't going to work. Option 2 was the Ruger LCP or the Kel Tec.

Looked around and found both in several tables. The last table we saw had the LCP for 269.00 WOW! I picked it up and fell in love with it. Very well balanced and all my fingers except my pinky fit on the grip. Was going to do a pic but I'm sure everyone here has seen tons of them.

If I'm not mistaken , I think the LCP is a little thinner and lighter than the Micro DE
which would make it fit the pocket a little better.

I think you will be very happy with your choice. I know I have no regrets about getting mine.

Congratulations! Maybe I should have went to your gun show. I went to the GRB show in Houston with friends and didn't see any great deals on guns. I offered 4 dealers cash if they would match online price but they turned me down. The gun was still sitting there at the end of the day. At least magpuls are plentiful and priced to move.

It is great for the pocket. I have a clip on mine (what used to be used on the 1st Gen. Keltec) that allows it to be worn IWB with your shirt tucked in. The clip looks like a knife clip. Now all of the safety police can chime in about the dangers of the clip.

Congratulations! Best price I've seen on an LCP lately is $299 cash at the SAXET show here. I've been wanting to get one for pocket carry but the unavailability of .380 ammo has put me off. Picked up a Kel Tec P32 a couple weeks ago and carry it in an Uncle George's Wallet Holster. I have another .32 auto so already have the ammo but if and when .380 is more available the LCP is still on the list.

Is it just me or do I detect a somewhat moderating of gun prices on some guns? It seems like more good deals are coming out of the woodwork lately.

Yes many good deals there. My buddy picked up a22 S&W blk rifle for 399.00. Range report is good . Gun was accurate and I felt recoil was normal not excessive. I was using 95 grn hollow point reloaded . Gun is a joy to carry and would recommend it. Just remember it's very small so it's like no other gun I have ever shot. I'm not abig 380 fan as this is my bug. I will say because it is so small and light that this caliber is plenty. My only dis like is the trigger pull DAO and very long pull . The slide doesn't come back on last shot but after 7 shots and 8 more from the 45 I would hope the situation would be well over.

We were at the FTW Show also. We were hoping to find my wife a Kahr CW9. Instead we found a great deal on Kahr P9 for $429.
