Up for sale is my Colt Commander, of the M1991A1 variety, ORM. When it came to me via trade, it was solid black, GunKote, and had already had some upgrades: an aluminum trigger, Nowlin bushing, beavertail grip safety, and plain black Novak's sights. I took it to the range and it chewed up a variety of about 500 hardball and JHPs without so much as a burp. Ragged hole after ragged hole from about 25 yards.
Early this year, It took a trip to Ken Crawley GunKote, with some upgrades: an aluminum trigger, Nowlin bushing, beavertail grip safety, and plain black Novak's sights. It has been to Ken Crawley and had the following work done: slide-to-frame tighten, Novak front night sight, crown the barrel, dehorn for carry, and refinished. Smith and Alexander magwell, G-10 grips. All controls, as well as the upper, with the exception of the sights, barrel, and bushing, are what Mr. Crawley dubbed "Wilson Gray." The frame and the aforementioned parts are in black.
I would say that I have about $1165.00 in this pistol. I know I would be crazy to think I could recoup that, and won't try. But I am looking for $875.00, which for what the pistol brings to the table is reasonable, IMO. The only trade I am interested in is LNIB Glock 36 in the clam shell box. Would like it to have night sights. There would have to be a little money added on your side.

Just returned from Meeting Carlson and his wife about half way between here in Abilene and the DFW metroplex complete this transaction.

The Texas CHL Forum has some really fine members, and Carlson is another one of them ! It was a pleasure for my wife and I to meet Carlson and his wife, they are the very best of people ! We all had an enjoyable lunch and had a good opportunity to talk and get to know one another.

The Colt M1991A1 is in superb condition, much better then he described !! I am very happy with it. He liked the Glock 36 and with the cash difference, we all parted ways as happy folks with our new guns.

Many of you may have done business with Carlson before, but for those that haven't.... I recommend him highly ! :thumbs2:
