What sneaky gun banners might do....

I am worried that with the increase in CHL licensees, gun banners might ban guns for all non-licensees. That way, the people who are most likely to protest will protest less since they are unaffected.

Therefore, please vociferously and vigorously protest ANY effort to ban any guns or 2nd amendment rights, even if it doesn't affect you personally! What good will our rights be if our children will not have the basic human right of self-defense after we die?

We are only temporary stewards of the USA. Please leave the country in same or better shape than when you found it. Keep America great.

So everyone runs out and gets a CHL! Problem solved!

no purplehood, I'm worried that they may ban guns for all future citizens and ban new chl applications, too. Only people who are grandfathered in will be allowed to possess guns. Kinda like Chicago, Obama's home turf. They've done it there already and I suspect that Obama may try to do that on a national level. If you bought a gun in Chicago before 1982, you may keep it as long as you register it. You are grandfathered in. If you bought it after 1982, you are going to jail unless you have very powerful friends whom you've contributed mega bucks to their election campaigns. Even in the most draconian gun banned societies, there are always loopholes for the rich and famous to own guns. In China, Lee Ka Shing (the wealthiest man in Asia) carries a pistol even though there is a death penalty for gun possession in China. He was made an honorary policeman. In Japan, if you're willing to go to an all-day class every month during a weekday, you may own a shotgun. Favoring the rich and famous over us plebians is NOT liberty. Liberty and freedom is when everyone is treated the same under the law. Your life is worth just as much as Donald Trump's in a country with liberty.

I live in the great state of Texas for a reason. I don't live in Chicago for a reason. I don't want the USA to turn into Chicago....

I usually strive to strike a note of sarcasm in my posts rather than being blatantly rude, but in this case I keep thinking of Chicken Little.
:banghead:
I would have to disagree. I believe that the current administration is struggling with its agenda of derailing our economy. I do not believe that they have the political cachet to strenously fight the RKBA/2A issues at this point in time.

Obama is even more concerned these days that Chicago will turn into America.
