Documents for new instructor course

I'm getting everything together to send out my application. One page says that I need to include:

Application
Instructor application (CR-90T)
3 Affidavits (CR-85L, CR-86L, & CR-87L)
2 Fingerprint cards

Then, there's a check list of documents to be submitted, and it says I need to include last years tax return. Is that right? Do I need to include my tax return?

The deal about the tax return is new to me, and we just renewed the second week of Dec.

I believe that is for those applying for the discounted rate as indigent - though I think that only applies with new and renewal CHLs. Regardless, they shouldn't need your tax records.

I thought it was kind of odd. Let's hope it wasn't necessary, because I sent the paperwork off today without the tax return.
