10 year CHL?

Saw a big sign yesterday at the Mesquite Rodeo Gun Show advertising a 10 year CHL class for $225.00. Didn't get a chance to check it out. Anybody know anything about it?

Not exactly. You may skip the class, but must submit the application, photo, fingerprints.JLaw wrote:IF I remember correctly, when took my renewal last year, the instructor mentioned that your 3rd TX CHL renewal was good for 10 years. I have not verified that though, I've still got another renewal to go before I worry about that.

Wow, that's bold. They're going to charge $225 for a class you're not required to take? (If you qualify for the 10 year CHL, you don't have to take a class, but you do have to renew.)jmra wrote:Saw a big sign yesterday at the Mesquite Rodeo Gun Show advertising a 10 year CHL class for $225.00.
