Need Help.

I was hoping one of ya'll can help me get the last known whereabouts on a person in the Dallas area. I am trying to find him for his mother, a dear friend of ours, to notify him of a death in the family (all my public records searches do not have an address...at least a good one). If you think you can help, PM me. I'll provide all I have on him including DPS number, etc. including my full credentials as well.

Thanks and God Bless,
Kyle

I cannot help in the DFW area, but I have a suggestion. If you call the Dallas Police on the non-emergency line and ask for the sargent on duty, describe the problem to him, and ask for someone who could help you. As a police chaplain, I have done several of these types of searches in the past. Be aware that you will need (usually) some official status that could be verified. On the other hand, you can request they notify the party and let the person call you back. Good luck.

Someone may have a better idea here.

Thanks, I am considering that. It was a lot easier when I was in the field and new several guys on a dinner table/shooting level. But I have been on staff so long, those that I still know where they are are retired. But failing that, I'll give it a shot.

Dragonfighter:
Wish I could give you some substantial help in this.

It would seem to me though that if a man's own mother
does not know his whereabouts, he may be homeless
(check with DFW social service agencies?), or he may
be "living off the grid" as it were, keeping a low profile.

If you know his marital status, you may be able to search
the marriage/divorce records for Dallas County.

You can go to http://www.dallascad.org/, search it,
and if he owns property anywhere in Dallas County, he'll be there.

By the way, when anyone is looking for anyone, I believe that all
counties in Texas have sites with the format of

www.<county name>cad.org

cad = Central Appraisal District. These sites contain all the property
tax info for the county. You can search by person's name, property address,
and they usually have * available for "wildcard" searches.

As long as the person for whom you are searching owns property,
you can find out more about them than they realize is publicly available
with just a little keyboard time.

Thanks for the help and suggestions. He was indeed living a low profile (colorful history). But we found him this morning on a trip to Vegas, apparently a hit I got on a cell # either was his or someone he knew, because within a couple hours of leaving a message, mom heard from him and he's on his way in.

Thanks again for the advice and well wishes, for those that are so inclined I ask for prayers for the mom (Lisa) and my wife whose going down tomorrow. I'll be going down Saturday.
