Quick!
Somebody hand me a drool rag!
Oh, she would kill me if I got out the cash for this....
Sure you don't want to go try it at the range some more? I find the .45 the easiest to shoot of all I have used.

It's not that I don't like the .45. I am just not able to shoot this one well.
I'm thinking I want to try a Para Ordinance.
What I need cash for now though is a new bird gun. Dove season is right around the corner.

KRM45, Don't give up. I have the exact same pistol and it was shooting low left when I first got it. After around 300 rds or so, it started shooting straight. And some of the SA Loadeds do have problems shooting low because of the front sight being too high. Just give Springfield a call with your situation and they'll set you straight. Good luck either way.

KRM45, nice Springfield. I have a competition Para 14.45 SX1445ER LTD Stealth
we might be able to get together and let you shoot; talk about a trade if you like.
I have been wanting a Springfield. The Para is LNIB.
Nice because it will handle 14 .45 round mags.
I will shoot you an e-mail if it's in your profile.
I shoot at LB Houston/Elm Fork on Luna/LBJ/Farmers Branch.
Let me know what you think.
Regards,
JW

You're a card ReySC!
Like you, I like to try all the guns.
EDIT: KRM45, I agree with KinnyLee, if you shoot your Springfield more you may really enjoy it. Springfield makes great firearms. As you know, the military uses versions of the Operator, LAPD SWAT uses the TRP (Plano police had just bought a bunch of TRP-Rails from Sporting Arms when I was there last week). And, I am sure you know the FBI uses a version of what Springfield sells as the Professional.
Got the PM and sent one back. I had confused the Dallas Pistol Club with the Dallas Gun Club and want to check into the DPC; thanks for that info.
Edit:8/19. The Plano Police bought Kimber TLE Rails Stainless. I had looked at a lot of guns that day.

I have the Springfield Armory full size GI .45 Milspec and I found that it shoots dead-on at 7 and 15 yards (not the "6 O'Clock" sight picture they describe in their owners manual). I've put over 1000 rounds through mine so far, and the more I shoot it, the more I enjoy it. The biggest problem I have is getting used to the recoil (hadn't shot a pistol in 25 years before I got this one!).
I haven't figured out where the rounds are going at 50 yards with Federal American Eagle 230g FMJ (yet), but I think they're about 2' lower than my sight picture. I'm not too worried, though, since I don't expect to need to shoot anyone at that range.

KRM45, I will PM you. Are you trying to shoot Sunday?
KRM45, ReySC has a Para also (among his sizeable arsenal).
ReySC would you consider shooting here or the west side of town (Elm ForK or other)?

Personally, I am just excited to hear that Sporting Arms got an LE deal like that. I love doing business with Becky. The last of the kitchen table gun dealers. Superb prices!

I can't believe this is still up for sale.....It is a gourgeous gun and looks flawless. If I hadn't just bought a Kimber I would snatch this up quick.
