New shooter & good friend wants to by GP100. .357.
2.25 or 3" barrel. Factory grips.
Anyone.????

You might check with Carl. I noticed on another thread he had a new SP101 that looks spiffy. He might let it go cheap!

That custom shop 101 is not going to be cheap. 5-Shot instead [abbreviated profanity deleted] 6. He also shot my 101 & wants a 100.

What is the difference in a 100 and a 101? Is it just 5 shots versus 6? or are there other differences also? They are good looking pistols.

Good comparative pics above. Carlson1's SP101 is ported, hammer bobbed, trigger job, & has some really fancy wood grips.
SP101 is basically a J-Frame, just a little beefier, & 5 shot.
