Now this is just bizarre. Not putting on my tinfoil hat this evening...but first we had the IRS purchasing a bunch of tactical shotguns, now the Dep't of Education???

I have my theories....but then again, choosing my headgear wisely this evening. Though I hate to say some of the tinfoil hat theories of 10 - 20 years ago are coming to fruition lately.

For what it's worth, these are for their special agents within the OIG's office.

I know that inspectors general of any agency can unearth serious criminal activity (especially in Chicago); but in my simple-minded view of the world, they could call for assistance from a local SWAT team or the FBI when necessary.

Along with these shotguns come black vehicles, body armor, night vision goggles, training, etc., etc.

You beat me to it. Now why on earth would they need a 14" barrel? This is fishy.

The ED should be careful. The IRS bought combat shotguns and then a plane flew into their offices.

Schools are getting rough. I heard some school newspapers in Chicago have obituary pages.

Teachers give writing assignments “What I want to be if I grow up”.
