FTF only - Let me get this straight.
You are only interested in a revolver which Fails To Fire? :-)

I would recommend a S&W 642 over the Taurus.
I had a Taurus like the picture you posted (mod 85 I believe). I sold it to buy the S&W later.
The fit/finish and resale value of the S&W is much better than a Taurus.

I agree with you on the Smith. It's really what I want.
My heart says Smith&Wesson but my wallet says Taurus.
I did stumble across this. It's not exactly what I'm looking for, but it's close.
The best part is it's in my price range and doesn't have the lock.

Went to my favorite arms dealer and found a new Smith&Wesson 642 Airweight for $ 439.
Just like this one.

Good choice. I have the same one without a lock.
