Academy (at least the locations at 59/Shepherd in Houston and 1960 in Humble) has Sig 30rd polymer mags in the 2-pack with connector on sale for $29.99. They are $45+ on most websites I have checked out. I bought 6 sets for myself and they function great in both of my Bushmasters.

Ive got two and a connector that came with my 556. They're a good reliable mag from my experience. Only downside to them is they don't have covers that come with them to keep ammo from warping the feed lip so they have to stay unloaded. I use PMag's because they can be loaded, capped, and stored ready to go.

The covers for PMags are primarily used to keep dust and grime out of the magazine or to protect the feed lios from getting dinged up. They weren't designed to keep anything from warping. On the other hand every firearm magizine was developed to store ammunition, not to be filled and immediately shot. The feed lips for the Sig mags are polymer and aren't prone to warping unless under extreme high temperature. I don't see how keeping loaded mags stored for any extended time would effect the feed lips. This is how I keep mine, stuffed with 300 rounds of 55gr FMG. Image

Should I get 6 or 10? I mean for IPSC and carbine matches?
