I just sent it out via Priority Mail with delivery confirmation.

The Post Office said it would be there Wednesday.

I already have my PIN, since I applied online. I'll start hammering their website on Thursday...

That's a sure route to frustration.

It will take as long as it takes.

The good news is that one month or less seems to be the rule lately.

Yea, my dad got his in 29 days!

I sent mine in in mid-December. They waited 59 DAYS before sending me a letter stating they needed clarification on a juvenile record that was 31 years old! They couldn't have requested that information earlier??!!

Anyway, I got the paperwork I needed from the clerk's office. Now, we'll see how long it takes to assimilate the new information. :waiting:

I think I have all the paperwork in order. I did have an arrest when I was 17 (more than 20 years ago), but I did include a certified copy of the "No Records Found" search from the County Clerk's office, so that should be enough.

The only think I'm nervous about is that, to my untrained eye, my fingerprint cards don't look very good. I don't have any idea what constitutes a good fingerprint. Some of my prints came out with some very light areas right in the center of the print.

The ones that looked questionable were the center of the finger pad on my right ring and pinkie fingers. However, the "reference prints" where all 4 fingers are together have good clean images of all the whorls and such. I hope that will be sufficient.
