This is just so cool!!!! My first round!



My load specs for the first batch:
115gr Berry's Preferred plated bullet
4.7gr of Alliant Bullseye powder
Winchester brass (fired-not new)
Winchester small pistol primer

Loaded on a Lee Challenger Press from the 50th Anniversary Kit using Lee Carbide dies.

I don't have a chrono yet, but the numbers say this should be around 1100 fps.

Congrats. I started not long ago with the same kit. I'll likely be picking up some Berry's of my own in the near future, though I think I'm going to stick with 124 grain.

What was the OAL on that load? How many did you load up for the first run?

Thanks. I'm doin a 50 round run with this load to see if it's what I want. My OAL is right at 1.160

Ohhhhhh....we need to get out to the range and try out those 50 so the reloading can begin in earnest! We have a lot of brass to fill.
