That means which is evident, grab slide, and you may still get shot Center of Mass, and it hurts, just for 30 sec or so.

I wonder how hard it is to keep hold of that slide after the first round hits you from within arms distance.

About two thirds through I started wondering if he was going to stick his finger in the barrel to keep the gun from going off.

I guess not!

Me too.
Also, the way he was acting, I kept waiting to see if he was going to sweep the camera man. :eek6

I don't think there was a camera man, it looked like he was stepping out of the frame to stop the camera, and then stepping back in after starting it again. I think it was on a stand.

TAM,

I know a lot of hammers that are much smarter than that.

My thought exactly; especially since he kept moving his free hand in front of the muzzle. At least his camera man was smart enough to not show up!

IMO This dude is under the influence of some heavy duty drugs. I don't think I will be practicing any of those moves. Sure hope no one takes that video seriously as a self defense method. :confused5

Stupid video, but I think the point may have been missed.

In a nutshell he is talking about grabbing for control of somebody else's gun when you are un-armed, disarmed, or unable to access your weapon. By grabbing the slide when the gun is fired you are preventing it from cycling, thus temporarily disabling the gun. If you get shot doing this, you probably would have been shot anyway. This is part of a last ditch effort to win the fight, NOT something to be considered in lieu of shooting the BG. The only situation to use this is close quarters fighting when you are at a weapons disadvantage, and need to remove the other guys means of deadly force.
