I had this rail on my gun for about a month and it saw two trips to the range - it's in excellent condition. I have high resolution pictures if you would like to take a better look.
I'm asking $185 local or $190 shipped.
Install is a breeze - this two-piece rail uses the factory barrel nut. I would be happy to walk you through the procedure if you want to talk it over first - just shoot me a PM. If you're local and willing to travel to Grand Prairie, I'll even do the install with you on a weekend.
Factory description:
The Troy MRF is the strongest user-installed free-floating rail system in the world. Troy MRFs are available for all M16/M4 weapon systems equipped with the original factory barrel nut. The MRF’s patented mounting system reinforces the barrel nut with a sturdy clamp and anti-rotation alignment lugs. Troy MRF BattleRails provide an uninterrupted rail extension and hand guard aligned perfectly with the host weapon's flat-top receiver.
Specs are as follows:
Aircraft aluminum Stainless steel
Type III hard coat with Teflon(R) Black oxide
Accepts Quick Detach 360 push-button swing swivel.
Only adds 4.5 oz. to weight of M16 (21.75 oz. total)
