I don't see any point in going Easter Egg Hunting today.
They are easy to find, they don't move real fast, but after you shoot them, there's hardly anything left to bring home to eat.
I don't think my license to hunt them is up to date anyway ...

I agree they're too easy. So, put some sport into it...

Try hunting them with nothing but a pocket knife.

They're easily killed with a .22. Cheap thrills.

The eggs must be more domesticated round your neck o the woods. Round here, you can't get within 100 yards of them suckers, so it takes some skill (and a decent bench rest) to pick em off with a .22 ... good times

That's what my neighbor across the street is doing, but I'm scared of any MUTANT rabbit that can lay foil covered chocolate or plastic eggs ... I saw "Night of the Lepus" Danged mutant rabbits, where's Elmer Fudd and his shotgun when you need him?

You're supposed to locate and shoot them at 100+ yards, like prairie dogs.

In light of the current administration...

Everyone who found many eggs must give those eggs to the the less fortunate
people who were too lazy to hunt for their own eggs.

Nope just their cousin Peter Cottontail. However he is safe till later in the year and the next good freeze. Then it will be grilled rabbit time again. Live out in the country and local church hid eggs for all the kids. Was an excellent year they only killed 3 rattlesnakes while hiding eggs this year.

Dodging the rattlesnakes is a new interesting twist in Easter Egg hunting. That will add to the challenge keep everyone on their toes!

My dad used to say Rattlesnake tastes like chicken; I haven't had any yet.

Venomnous snakes are how I justified my CHL out here in the country when I retired.

Now, if you give Peeps a sporting chance, say with a .22 at 30 yards or so, you can still have enough left to eat. Usually.
