An 8-year-old girl reportedly ran away from a man who grabbed her Sunday afternoon in Challenger Park in League City.
Police used a helicopter and canine to search for the man for an hour but did not find him.
The suspect was described by police as a Hispanic man with a medium completion that is in his mid-40s to mid-50s, 6-foot to 6-foot-2 and weighed about 200 pounds.
He had dark hair but was balding.
He had tattoos on his forearm, but also a very distinct tattoo across his forehead with diamonds and squares.

I don't know if this story refers to the Challenger Park that is west of I-45 and north of FM 518, or one near Blackhawk and the Beltway. I don't think the latter would be in League City.

They probably mean Challenger Park between 528 and 518 as the address in the story of 2300 Nasa Parkway maps in Seabrook. Given that League City and Webster police were involved and not Seabrook police, they probably got the address wrong.

Google and Yahoo maps are both practically useless in that area. There are too many roads named NASA Road, Parkway, Boulevard, Drive, etc.
The park that is west of 45 between 518 and 528 has a couple of NASA roads running around it.

I just checked out the map and the park sure does have a number of NASA RDs running through it. That's probably what they meant, not NASA Parkway which is NARA RD 1 from I-45 to Hwy 146.
Still, too close to home. We've been to that park before but typically visit Clear Lake Park as its closer to home.

The distinction between NASA Road 1 and NASA Parkwood is confusing. Also, the city limits in that area can change three times by crossing two streets. Here is a link to the park.

The girl got a good description of the guy, so hopefully somebody will recognize him and turn him in.

That's the one that I mentioned, that's near the Beltway and Blackhawk.
This is the one that I think is in League City:

It is confusing. FM 518 is Deke Slayton Highway and Main St, depending on the location. I forgot, but NASA Road 1 also turns into FM 528.

This is the correct one. The address is "2300 W NASA Parkway".
