Online renewal done. Now what?

My Instructor cert lapsed 12/31/09.Renewed online last week and go my new cert in the mail today. DPS has it together! The expiration for my new cert is 12/31/10. Question is, when do I attend a renewal course to avoid another lapse in my ability to instruct?

They ( DPS ) should sent you that information

As you may have noticed in my earlier thread about online renewal of my instructors certificate, mine had expired on 12-31-09 also. I did my online renewal and recently got my new certificate in the mail and it is good until 12-31-2011, as it should have been.
You seem to have been short sheeted.
I would suggest that you double check the expiration date again and if you were correct the first time, I would definately contact DPS. All instructor certificates should refelct an expiration date of the December 31 immediately following the bi-annual legislative session. It was designed that way so that we could renew with the latest legislative updates.
Contact DPS ASAP.
