Carry at work???

I'm sure that this question has been answered many times over, but my situation may be a little different. I work for a small company, just myself and one other man. His "handbook", which was just him telling me some general rules, said nothing about weapons of any kind. But we rent an office out of a property management group full of women. That being said, my question is this can I carry without worry about losing my job or not?
Or should I look into what the property management handbook says too?

none of their business, unless there is a valid 30-06 notice posted, for my It is don't care. Just remember, don't ask don't tell. Used a deep concealment holster like a smartcarry.

I work for a huge international corporation. I can not carry at work regardless. If you do not have those restrictions, keep concealed, keep legal, and don't tell anyone. You are legal unless the corp that is paying your bills says "NO" and they don't have 30.06 posted.
Currently, my work has no 30.06, but I am forbidden to carry per their rules as an employee, and I will follow thier rules.
I get it but am not happy about it. That is one of the bad things about working for a big corporation. If you are not in that position, carry and do it quietly. Don't make it an issue.

Unless the building/offices are posted 30.06 or off-limits by law (courts, bars, etc.) it sounds like you're legal to carry at work.

Although I'm unclear of your exact work arrangement. I would only worry about the company you work for directly. If he didn't say anything about weapons, and the property is not posted... then carry away.
Irrespective of carry issues, you should always be concerned about your employment status!
IANAL etc...

What's with the "property management group full of women" bit in the OP?
Suddenly firearms and the carrying thereof requires masculinity? I guess that will remove one Q&A from the application.

Just remember, in Texas, anyone can fire you, anytime, for no reason given at all. In fact, it's better to fire someone with no reason given, than with one.
Giving a reason can open you up to a lawsuit if the reason was legally wrong.
Carrying at work is LEGAL unless you are given proper notice under 30.06, or you work at some other place that is specifically illegal.
Even if a written company policy says 'no guns', unless it says it in exact 30.06 verbiage, it's still LEGAL.
Verbal Notice Counts under 30.06 as well, so, Don't ask, don't tell!
Doesn't mean they won't fire you if they find out, just that you (probably) won't be arrested for it, and even if you were, you'd win in court.
Your life or your job, your choice.

It doesn't sound like it's illegal for you to carry at work.
They can fire you for carrying a gun but they can also fire you for carrying an iPhone.

My company doesn't have a written policy about being armed in the workplace, but I called myself into my office, and I made it abundantly clear to me that, if I am ever found to be disarmed on company time, I will fire me immediately.

Really hanging out w/ the wrong girls. Wrong Dr. too. My Cancer Dr. asks what I am carrying every time I am in there. His wife has a CHL. 2 of his nurses are very pro gun. One has her CHL.

Ok, of course I didnt mean it like that. But like it was said above, I find more women are against guns than are men. Of all the women in the office I only know of one that does not have a problem with guns...she has multiple AR's.
