Just read an article that said because of lackluster support Texas may loose out on congressional seats. Well I would have sent it back had I ever gotten one. I have lived in my house for 10 years and its 30+ years old. You think it would be on the records to get a census form. Anyone else have this problem?

I haven't received a census form either... but, I don't use a rural mail box and instead use a PO Box. Been in this house since 1985 and had forms dropped off at the house the other two go-rounds.... I'm not sure there is a big push to get the count made in certain parts of the country - particularly the "less densely populated" areas.

My wife spent an hour trying to find out how we could get a form, and the braintrust she talked to last on the phone wasn't much help.

If you want to make sure you are counted, you can pick up a Be Counted form at one of our Questionnaire Assistance Centers. To find the center nearest you, please visit the Take 10 Map. If you have not received a 2010 Census form by April 12, call 1‐866‐872‐6868 and we will either take your information over the phone or send you a form by mail. Rest assured that we are going to make sure you are counted in the 2010 Census. Beginning in May, we will be sending hundreds of thousands of census takers to every neighborhood in the country to count each housing unit that has not returned a census form.

Yep! Of course, I've only lived at the same address since 1951. I have never filed a change of address or moved, yet they aren't smart enough to find me.

I've was on the 1960, 1970 census as a dependent here and as primary on 1980, 1990, 2000 census.

I refuse to do their work for them, so I won't make effort to secure a form.

I got a notice that a Census form was on the way, the actual Census form, a thank you for filling out the Census form, and, yesterday, the LONG Census form. You can have mine if you want to be counted. I'm already tired of filling this info out!

They'll get any long form they send my way back with a big NOYB on it. I have no problem with their short form (sent it back same day it came) but even it is more intrusive than what is called for who, where, and ages.
