I haven't checked Snopes, but I heard that the immigration bill was passed to keep only one man out of their state and has nothing to do with Australians, Swedes, Norweigeners, Mexicans, Japanese, Taiwanese, Indians, Koreans, Russians, Filipinos, Mouseketeers, etc etc etc....
Click the attached picture for a better understanding.

So that's the real reason he doesn't like the bill.

While that's silly, Arizona ALSO passed a law stating people running for president on the ballot there need to show proof of citizenship/eligibility.

This hasn't been covered that much by the press has it? I just found out about it the other day. Should make it interesting mabey if the current POTUS wants to be included on the Arizona ballot for 2012!

The last I heard, this one had passed the Arizona House, but has yet to pass the Senate.
This is the bill I would like to see TX pass.
With this and the immigration bill, there must be a lot of right thinking folks in AZ.

They are split more than Texas has ever been, the darn Californians keep jumping the border and a lot of them vote., So there is some hard core liberalism running amuck in places like Tuscon. They really need to build a fence.
It has been a long tradition in Texas for politicians to talk tough about border issues but to do absolutely nothing.
