We're doing the BBQ tomorrow @ someone else's house (the best kind of BBQ...no cleanup needed!!)

So we decided to have some burgers tonight...I 'borrowed' the recipe from my favorite brewery, Fitgers, out of Duluth, MN. http://www.brewhouse.net" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Burgers with a Chipotle BBQ Sauce, Scallions, Cheese, Applewood Bacon, and Garlic Mashed Potatoes (yeah, on the burger). Talk about comfort food!

Sounds good PB but I would swap the garlic mashed taters for sliced avocado. Got up at 1 this morning and smoked fifty lbs of brisket and 12lbs sausage for a friends family reunion today, so fixed me a brisket too and thats what is heating up right now. Thinking about a brisket, onion, cheese and picante sauce omelet for breakfast.

Just returned from the Mall. Cajun Grill is a "must stop". Had the usual...Bourbon Chicken, potatoes, and fried rice.

We were invited to a friend's house for Saturday night dinner. We had fresh striper out of Lake Texoma, fries, coleslaw and hushpuppies. Good food, friends/family makes for a good time on Memorial Weekend.

Last night was broiled chicken breast, focaccia, and a salad...

But Tuesday will be the 20th anniversary of my wife's 32nd birthday, and we'll be celebrating with a BBQ next weekend. I'll be doing up a big batch of ribs and brats and some tri-tip in the smoker, and we're having a few friends over to help us do it justice.

I picked up some shrimp. Peeled, butterflied, deveined and grilled them up . Served with some yellow rice and a little lettuce, a bottle of Shiner bock

All is good.

Sounds like you need to polish off the ole BBQ rig ;-)
As for me and mine, I just finished smoking a thirteen pound pork butt, gonna make some pulled pork taco's with tomatillo ancho sauce and roasted corn. Might have a St Arnold's or two with it.

Potato chips, ice cream bar, couple of sodas. No family, no friends, just me.

Pretty sad if I thought about it.
