I am finally running out of my old recipe for the 45 ACP. I had been loading Speer 200 gr. JHP bullets, the one's they called Flying Ashtray. Now they don't make it anymore.
Question;
Where can I get a 200 gr. JHP bullet with a cannelure?
thanx!

I am aware of that. I prefer a tight taper into the cannelure and you don't have to worry about bullets getting pushed back. CANNELURE for me, if I can get them.

I don't know of any cannelured bullet for .45 ACP since Speer stoped making the "flying ashtray" That was one good bullet if your gun would feed it!

I am having to place some .45acp on back order but I believe Powder Valley still carries the "Flying Ashtray's". Don;t quote me on that but I'm pretty certain they still have them.

I was looking at Hornady's hollowpoint line in 230gr the other day, and noticed it had a cannelure. I'm fairly certain they make a 200 grain, and I'd be it's cannelured as well...

They don't, as far as I can tell. Nothing of the sort listed on the Hornday site, anyway.
