I've been reading the UTAH CHL Class/Ohio CHL topic, http://www.texaschlforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=33133, and I've been wondering how many of us have other licenses and what kind do we have. Please take the poll so we can find out what the general trend is for other licenses. You do not have to post a reply if you want to remain anonymous, just take the poll.

Only the Texas CHL. It get's me almost everywhere I go except for Illinois and no one can carry there. Not even the residents. As soon as they get that fixed, I'll be good to go.

Voted only Texas.
I wouldn't mind getting a Utah only for the purpose of a backup in case mine is ever lost or stolen.
That way I'm covered until I can get a replacement.

At one time, Texas was not recognized by some of the other Southern states. I picked up that coverage and more by getting a New Hampshire license.

By the time it expired, Texas was recognized by those states so the need disappeared.

I obtained my Utah license about a year after my Texas CHL. At the time, it was taking up to six months to get a Texas CHL. I didn't want to be in a situation where I could not conceal carry, so I thought that it would be good to have another license in case my Texas renewal got held up or I lost my plastic. As I sometimes travel to the western states, I also wanted to have the ability to carry in Nevada and Washington state. Since then, Nevada doesn't recognize the Utah CWP.

Texas only...haven't had the need to visit any states that don't recognize our license yet.

Texas and Pennsylvania. Got the PA license dated to expire 6 months after my TX CHL in case there were any delays next time I renew. The delays may be not as bad in five years but I aplied during the big glut of applications and waited 178 days. But considering there will be a lot of renewals in five years even with BD stagger it may come in handy.

Same here. I find that vacationing/traveling/visiting within the 5 states adjoining Texas keeps me satisfied....plus keeps me close to home.

TX and CO. Got CO before reciprocity and even renewed it. Spend half of each year up there. Feels good to have the sheriff's name on it when I show it.
