Greetings--

Im in search of some 50cal ammo cases-- the mil surplus type with the hinge on the long side. A case of 9mm Blazer/WWB fits perfectly in these.

I've checked here and there-- but all I have found are the small(thinner) ones that hinge along the short edge.

SUgegstion on where to look ? I get to HOU (west side), Baytown and DFW on occasion.

THere is a Saxet Gun Show in Conroe this weekend. Not too far from Houston straight up I-45.

Have you checked Cheaper Than Dirt?

How much too small is the standard 50 cal. box? If it's not too small, you might try getting a "fat 50" a/k/a S.A.W. box. They are slightly larger than the standard 50 cal. box.
