Any recommendations for something closer to Georgetown than Austin? I went with Ross last time at CHL Texas but don't want to travel that far this time. Let me know who has a good class in this area. Thanks!

Have you looked into Red's in Pflugerville? They offer the class.

I tried Reds when I was looking, but they were booked solid for over a month.

I went with Capitol Area Practical Shooting http://www.caps-chl.com

How about Astro Village vic. of: On 183 & approximately five miles N/O Andice turn off.
(You'll pass Stan's range on the right ... but, go 1-2 miles n/o Stans, and Astro's is on tha' left)
L.E.E. has a great facility and also provides UT. ccw.
I'd check em' out !

May want to check out Eagle Peak. Instructor is Wendy Mings I believe. The Leander location is probably closer to you than Reds anyway!

If you don't go to Leander, check out Pat, just over on 29, between Bertram and Burnet... much less traffic than goin' to Austin

There is also a new small gunshop in Liberty Hill, right on 29 and 1869. They offer classes and renewals. I think they do the shooting at Astro.

Signed up with Austin Regional Firearms Academy, anyone been? I guess they have their own private range (looking at the pics)?
