New Ruger SR9C going bye-bye
Say hello to my little .40 friend
.40 is such an
excellent personal defense caliber it will be on permanent duty in the car.

I know that it isn't the prettiest gun you have, but it gets the job done every time. Good choice!

As an owner of both a p89 and a g19 I will say I could not get rid of either. Sadly I dont know wich is more ugly.
they both function with out fail and nither care about what type of brass they eat.

9mm and 40S&W can both do the job, but everyone has to make their own choices. I do agree that a Glock is ideal, I've owned enough of them over the years
Were there any issues with the Ruger? I know someone who is interested in the SR9C and would like to pass on your opinion.

I see they are up for trade for an HK. As an owner of two HKs (USPc and P2000sk) I can't blame you

But what gives, looks like you just aquired the Glock.

Why?
The key word is "deal".
If I can own an HK USPC .40 for not much more out of pocket than what I put into the Glock, I'll do it in a heartbeat.
The HK's fit my hands and the controls are intuitive, especially the VAR1 safety.

My dad just bought an SR9c. So far he seems really pleased with it.

I love my G27 and I think it's a nice looking gun. Never understood why people say they are ugly.

I've got the slightly larger big brother SR9 and I am pleased with it.
