The Bersa Thunder is really a nice little gun for the money.
I've had a couple now. The latest is the all nickle version.

My wife thinks it's hers, but it's really mine..shhh

DubiousDan wrote:Today I finally had the opportunity to shoot a Bersa 380 and I have to say it was a sweet shooter. It was accurate enough, felt good in the hand and recoil was light but not quite as light as my Walther PK 380. If I had been able to shoot one before I got the Walther, I might have gotten the Bersa instead.
I too am fond of this very inexpensive and good-shooting little gun. Had one for a while, but traded it when I decided to go with a 9mm Walther PPS. Don't regret the decision at all as I love my PPS and carry it often. But do miss the Bersa.

Interesting what you say about the Walther PK380 having less felt recoil. Is the PK380 a tip-up barrel recoil design? I know the Bersa, and most other "larger" 380s (Browning BDA, Beretta 84/85, Walther PPS) are straight blowback which leads to greater felt recoil. Shot a Beretta 85 that actually had more felt recoil than my 9mm Walther PPS.

i bought a bersa about 5 years ago at academy for $198.00. loved it.

i would shoot 100+ rounds every time i took it to the range, and it would leave a sore in the webbing of my hand between the thumb/pointer.

awesome gun, and although they are a little more expensive now, they are also a little nicer as well.

Bersa is one of the best kept secrets in the gun world. Folk just assume they are garbage, but I've never had any reason to not love my Bersas.

My main carry is a Bersa in 9mm. Lovely little gun.

UC9? Me too. What do you holster it with? I'm carrying with an Uncle Mike size 15 IWB over my right kidney, but I'm always looking for a more comfortable method.

I use a Crossbreed Supertuck at 10 o'clock (as I'm a lefty). Took a bit of fiddling to find the right position and cant, but once I got there it was super.
