Finger Print Quality Unacceptable

Post by TexasTony »

I just logged in and saw that my finger prints were rejected. Does anyone know if the new prints have to be re-done at the same place I originally got them? My photos were accepted so if I go somewhere else to redo the prints, does it matter if the signature on the photos and prints are from two different officers?

Ink print cards. The CHL class had an officer come in and do it for us. I was kind of worried because some of the prints looked questionable, but I was hoping between the two cards, they would get a good print.

I would like to do them electronically if possible. From what I read, it is a more reliable process. I don't know if the photos and prints are tied together with the officers signature though.

No, Mrs. Oldgringo ultimately submitted four (4) sets of prints and one photo. Yes, she did get her CHL 160 Days after the first fingerprint/application submittal.

Do the F.A.S.T. thingy.

If you can get digital prints, then do so. The FBI rejection rate is less than 1%. Either way, don't worry about the photos. Signatures are no longer required on any photos, if you are a Texas resident.
