BTW, roman3667, I'm curious.... I have a Springfield Loaded, and it's already a pretty nice gun for a mid-range 1911. I'm not familiar with the "Professional FBI" model. Other than the frontstrap checkering, the mag well, and what appears to be a stainless barrel/bushing combination, what else about this particular model sets it apart from the less expensive 1911 pistols in the Springfield product line like mine?

looks to me like the certificate says crg128. that may not be right though since im rarely correct.

That's what it looks like with 1999 production year.
