Classroom Materials

Just thought I'd pass this on. I have been sorely in need of some sort of tote or whatever to carry all my classroom supplies back and forth for when I teach CHL classes. It gets old carrying 2-3 boxes worth of stuff (tripod, camera, photoprinter, packets, pens, pencils, tests, etc.). Well, I was at Costco today and bought this:

Stanley Fat Max

The bottom storage area has plenty of room for the camera, and paperwork, the uppor portion has plenty of room for my photo printer and related supplies, and the middle section has plenty of room for my notary supplies and misc. office supply needs. I can loop my laptop briefcase over the pull-up roll handle, and make 1 trip. Anyway, Costco had it for 69.99.

Mine is real low tech.

Found a stray magnacart collapsable dolly and strapped a milk crate on the bottom. Stacked another crate on the top to hold my hanging file tote. Everything goes in these crates. My whole "office" takes up about 2 sqft...or 4 sqft if I unstack my crates.

I think it's funny when the local tax office sends out the Business Personal Property Rendition for completion. Let's see, two milk crates, a salvaged dolly, and maybe $100 worth of supplies, targets, stands, etc. IF I include the staple gun.
