;-)

Got to let some people play doctor on me tomorrow...I'm sure it'll go fine...

I told them if they see anything else loose in there to just go ahead and take it out also...Might as well...

Not like I'll be able to protest it...

See y'all on the flipside... :txflag:

Stevie - you probably weren't using that gall bladder for much, anyways! I say, good riddance to it!

You know we will be praying for ya. Take care, buddy!

I had mine removed in 2005. Ever since then I suffer from a strange problem. I get the hiccups and then burp. Can't help it. Very weird.

Other than that, I don't miss it.

Good luck to you, and a prayer said for you and for the hands doing the work.

My wife had hers out 3 years ago or so. Orthoscopically (I think thats how you spell it) 4 little holes - in at 11am, discharged at 3pm.
Good luck and I hope yours is as good, fast and without any issues, much like my wifes.

My wife's experienc a few years earlier than your wife's was similar. In and out, no muss no fuss. Scars are all but invisible now. Stevie, you'll be fine. Prayers & best wishes, of course.

I had mine out last May. Of course, it was gangrenous and possibly ruptured as I was flying back from Beijing, so while I had the orthoscopic thing done with the four tiny incisions, I was in the hospital for almost a week.

No problems now, other than if I eat too much fatty food I'd better be near a bathroom (yeah, I know--too much information). I can eat a burger OR fries, but not both. However, it isn't much of a problem as I've adjusted my diet to avoid the issue. Lost a bit of weight as a result, too.

Good luck and Godspeed. May the Master Surgeon guide the hands and eyes of the surgeon doing your procedure.

Prayers here to Steve for the surgeon's skilled hands and a quick recovery. Recovery from the laparascopy is MUCH better than the old days, so I am sure you will do well!!
