A regular at the Bay Area Dog Park (Clear Lake City area), has a 4 month old Red Boned Coonhound and his wife, when they adopted her from Houston SPCA, thought she would be a 20lb or so dog.. Well, currently she is 42 lbs, and should go to 50-70 lbs according to a search of the dog breed.
there is a video as well as photo's of the puppy on a Group page on Facebook - search Bay Area Dog Park (this link hopefully will get you there as well)
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=138197688472" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
See the video and photos posted by "Rick Cole (me)" for the dog. --- No, Haley is not my dog. If I did not already have 2 dogs - and one is 9 months old, i would take Haley in a heartbeat.
If interested, please let me know
thanks!

Having been formerly owned by a redbone hound, I will mention to anyone thinking about giving this dog a good home that redbones are very fun-loving dogs that need a *lot* of room to play and run around in...the typical suburban backyard probably isn't going to meet that requirement.

Off-topic..... but how do you like the park there? I have two very well socialized and balanced GSDs that I would LOVE to bring up there.

We love the park.
We go every non working day, about 7am for about an hour or so.
normally on Saturday and Sunday mornings, we are there with about 10 other people and their dogs, so us pet parents all talk with each other and our kids play all around us.
For the most part, the park is nice, unless it has rained recently, it does get muddy. There are a couple dog showers there, just in case.
If you get the urge to go and don't want to 'not know anyone', give me a shout and on a weekend day (preferably morning or evening when the sun isn't at it's high point, I can bring one or both of my kids over.

I'll have to do that, maybe this weekend... I don't let my dogs in my "regular driver" haha.
