If you qualify for the discount then thats the best route to go. Unless someone is desperate.

Get a new one. I doubt anyone would want to take such a loss by selling below $398.

At that price, just pick up a new one. I am going to be purchasing from GT as soon as I sell my G30SF. Getting another G19.... not sure if I am going to get the Gen 3 or Gen 4 though.

Random, but I've heard from an EMT buddy of mine that EMTs and firemen also also get LE discounts at GT in Austin.

Police, fire, EMS, Federal Flight Deck Officers, licensed security, and one or two others I'm forgetting.

Desperate and can't find a normal citizen who will pay normal (non-LEO) market rates for a used Glock.

Very desperate if they're willing to sell significantly below what a normal citizen would pay for a used Glock.
