In a small town in Delaware (I think they're all small), a 3-year-old boy reportedly got his hands on a .410 shotgun and loaded it with .38-caliber cartridges. He allegedly shot at a fire station across the street from his home.

The child's mother is 18. (Do the math.) She was charged with multiple offenses.

I also missed this part of the story:

"I got my charges, I'm probably going to be locked up, and that's it," she said.

"A blue stroller sat empty in the front yard, as the lyrics of an Eminem song were heard from an open window."

I wonder how the reporter knew who heard and sang the lyrics.

It has been a long time since my kids were 3 but how did the kid know what to do?

Good question. I don't remember anything from when I was three, but kids are good at imitating the actions of adults.

If you click through to the second page, they arrested three women. The mom and two of her friends with warrants. It sounds like a lovely neighborhood.

Babies raising babies....I wonder if baby-daddy will be any better?
