I met a new girl last week and last night we decided to see each other exclusively. I thought I should tell her then about the fact that I carry a gun with me 99% of the time I leave my house, just in case it would cause problems.

She simply said "Ok".

I said "That doesn't freak you out?"

Her reply: "No. It makes me feel safer."

Well, I hope this is the beginning of many happy times together for you two! Perhaps [at least eventually] she would be willing to get her CHL too so you can have the advantages of both of you licensed and carrying.
