I JUST received my Texas CHL and have decided to move back to Colorado. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what I need to do. I know I have to fill out a change of address within 30 days but since it is an out of state address are they going to make me just get a Colorado CHL? I am not against doing this but I really don't want to spend the money all over again since I just got my texas license. And comments would be appreciated. Thanks
Tim

Change it to a non-resident license.

I just went through the same process, although I moved to Oklahoma. You need to get a Texas ID card with your Colorado address as well as doing a change of address on you CHL. In order for your Texas CHL to be valid you have to have the Texas ID.

Great to know. I definitely wouldn't have thought of that. Thanks for the info.

Where in CO? I've been thinking of heading in that direction myself. Not much for the Texas 2 season cycle.

Well I am from the peoples republic of Boulder. Beautiful place but LOTS of hippies. I think I will be living in Lafayette which is boulder county. Colorado is in my opinion the best place in the country to live. 4 seasons but the winters aren't miserable and the summers aren't too hot. And the fishing and hunting is arguably the best in the country. Maybe I am just Biased. HAHA
