On my application I listed all my arrest and the dispositions, also sent dispositions in with application all class c misdemeanors from years back. I had one that could not find information on and it concerns me it is from a 1991 arrest for assault, on the application I put convicted as it was a class c misd. I have researched in depth and received a letter from the District attorneys office stating that the case was declined by the DA office- signed sealed by notary public and signed off on by DA. :rules:

What do you think I should do? anything? Contact Austin? any recommendations would be appreciated.

I would fax a letter to DPS explaining that you made a mistake on the application by listing a dismissed charge as a Class C conviction. Also send the letter you have from the DA. I would then mail your original letter and a copy of the DA's letter to DPS and send it Certified Mail, Return Receipt Requested.

Under no circumstances would I not notify DPS.

Chas.
