Wow! It chased a woman into her garage and apparently held her captive for over an hour.

She's lucky, not many people can say they were chased into their garage and held captive by W.C. Fields!
I'm not a big fan of monkeys. We had neighbors that had a couple of them when I was a kid. They would get out of their cages and chase us down our street after school. My friend got a pretty good bite on the arm and several scratches on her legs. They eventually had to put the monkeys down because of their attacks on people and pets in the neighborhood.
They actually have a recipe (more of a guideline than an actual recipe) here

Don't think I would have the guts to get close enough to dispatch the thing myself. Best leave it up to the professionals who haven't been able to catch it for the past week.

A friend and student of my late wife's invited us to his house for dinner once. We knew, vaguely, that he had a monkey, but not much more than that.
'A' monkey?
He had several, and a huge cage in the middle of his living room that apparantly was there for the monkeys to climb the outside of. The house stank and dinner was a diaster because he didn't confine them while we were eating, so we were constantly climbed on and harassed for food.
Nobody got bit, they were actually kind of cute, but we finally figured out why he was a bachelor.
