Big 5 Sports is having a sale through Sept 26.
Here's the ad for Odessa, should be the same all over the state.

There's also a $25 off coupon on purchases over $100 at the bottom of page 3.

It looks like the closest one to Houston is in Abilene.

Closest Big 5 to DFW is apparently in Wichita Falls.
That Condor is the "plain jane" version of the Condor Competition which I recently purchased and used at our forum "skeet meeting" on Saturday. I don't know that much about shotguns, and this is my first one, but the Condor seems like a fine weapon for the price. I bought mine used for $450, and it has some additional features not found on the regular version. But still, $299 seems like a pretty good price for a standard version of the gun given that MSRP is $399.

The Condor in the ad does not have bbl select. It fires bottom bbl first and swaps to top. Brother has one and it shoots fine.

Appreciate that, thanks.
My current plan is to buy the Condor with a coupon and save $25.
Then buy a Mosin and a bit of ammo, after looking them over in Midland and Odessa, and use another $25 coupon.

Ugh, I live over 2 hours drive from Big5, that's a 4 hour round trip drive. My wife who hates guns would kill me if I went awol for 4 hours too buy a gun. Ugh....
That's an even better deal than Cabela's $99 deal!

Have you factored in the cost of 4 hours worth of gas?

How so? Was it heavier, or was it the fit?

Ah, I see. I do like the adjustability of mine and the balance of it.

Your other posts suggets your wife wouldn't let you buy it if the store was 5 minutes away.
However, your broke neighbor with the $100 budget is not living with the same restrictions.
