I noted a difference between the mailing address on the CHL checklist sent via email to me after completing the OnLine application and the packet envelope we received at the class with the fingerprint cards, etc... I don't know if the different addresses are important in any way or not, so chose to mail to the address shown on the CHL checklist email since that was to be printed out and included.

I just wanted to give a heads-up in case it might make a difference and no one has noted this discrepancy. Moderators, if this has been discussed elsewhere please feel free to delete the thread.

I don't know if it's been brought up before, but it is a good question.

I took the class back in October, then did the online application the end of May. Just call me "Mr. Procrastinator".

I noticed the different mailing addresses and elected to use the one from the online process.

To make a long story short, I got my license in 40 days. Pretty fast for the May-July timeframe.

Both PO Boxes will get your packet there.

The one for the paper application goes to accounting first, so they can extract the payment and forward the rest to processing.

With the online app, you have already paid, so you get to bypass that stop; hence the different PO box.
