And more training.

why do many of us shoot more at a single range session then many LEO's in a fiscal quarter? Why do we practice non typical shooting stances, weak hand draw, reload, engagements? strong hand no assist FTF drills...Why ? Because you never know when you may lose control or use of one hand.

Ouch. Not as bad as yours, but I'd thought I'd broken my right (strong) hand weekend before last. Took my nephew shooting the next day, and it dawned on me that instead of shooting one-handed w. my left, I could still use my right (off) hand for support. First time I'd tried that. Reverse my stance (left foot back), and muddled through a two handed offside grip. Canted @ 45 degrees for my right eye on the sights. Definitely different, but good training!

Yikes! Good example of why some of us train the way we do.

Is your Mustang a standard or automatic?

I really wanted an 05+, but couldn't justify the monthly note to my wife, so I picked up my 04GT (previously had a 90GT, hence the username, and an 01GT). Nice to see I'm not the only fan.

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery. Sorry to get off topic.
