I could not believe it, but it seems the scenes from I am legend are now for real:

A white-tail deer was cornered by Chicago police after it made its way through a residential Northwest Side neighborhood Sunday night and into someone's backyard.

Police were on the scene with the animal -- an 8-point Buck -- about 6 p.m. on the 3700 block of West Eddy Street in the Avondale neighborhood.

The deer eventually fled the property through a nearby alley. (Tribune / Nuccio DiNuzzo)

I am Legend the book >>>>>>>>> I am legend the movie

by about 1000 times.

The movie was a serious disappointment for me.

I've seen deer in the parking lot at work. There have also been reports of wild turkeys, armadillos and various smaller animals. Also Saw a turkey vulture the other day, and we're in San Antonio...

I'm in the middle of Plano, a city surrounded by more cities on all sides, and I see coyotes wandering around in or near my neighborhood about once every 4-6 months.

It's been a while now...I think it was in '97, but I remember a co-worker of mine being attacked & bitten by a coyote in the Nortel parking garage (yeah, the UNDERGROUND garage) in Richardson...

Wow... They've become a burrowing species. Quick! Everyone put in giant swimming pools that take up your whole back yard so they can't tunnel under the fence!
