I can't remember when I've ever heard of a Post Office being robbed.

Wait a minute. How can this be when no weapons are allowed inside?

Was it? Did it say it was a robbery or just saying robberies at PO's are rare as they try to figure out the motive?

As many of you know my wife at the Friendswood post office, we talked about this last night. It is strange, the shootings were not in the customer area. I have a fair working knowledge of the offices. First, supposedly, the back area is required to be locked and entry by key or combination. Now this seems to be a small post office and quite frankly I doubt they lock up the back. Second, post offices do not carry much cash. Most purchases are done, by Debit, check or CC. Oh I guess they could burst in and say "give me all your Disney World stamps but I don't any of those flowery ones". then go sell them on Ebay, which people DO!. Seriously, this is strange to have someone apparently, and just guessing from the story, get into the back area and kill them. I have to ask, who sent what to who at the post office and someone was looking for it. I doubt seriously it was for a large amount of cash. I know my wife will keep me posted on this as well as here.

PS. Be nice to the clerks in those long lines, they do not control the lack of people up front that serve you. When you get in a long line, PLEASE ask for the post master and complain to THEM that THEY have not staffed the post office in a manner to serve the public. Thank you on behalf of my lovely wife.
