If you're willing to partition your drive, you might be able to run it without the virtual machine. Macs these days are Intel dual core machines.

Windows already partitions the drive. Can you add another partition?

Bill, I believe that you can. The partition windows creates is for the OS itself, not for the actual disc storage of applications and data. Also, you can install Windows to run natively in a partition on a Mac, and use Boot Camp to tell the machine which OS to boot into when firing it up from a cold start.
BTW, here is a screen shot of Windows running in a virtual machine on my Mac:
Also, this virtual machine - Parallels Desktop - can tell the Windows window to run full screen, so that your screen looks exactly like a full on Widows box.

That's next - I had to first make sure it would run on my existing (AMD, not Intel) hardware, but now that it does...
I'll need to get a larger disk soon - I'm running XP, Server 2003, OSX and 2 versions of Linux

I have about 4 versions of OS/2 if you want
Seriously though, I understand, I used to have 16 different Operating Systems on one computer, including Novell DOS and DRDos and IBM's, and W4WG and OS/2 and ... etc etc etc.
In those days I used Partition Magic (for OS/2) and it handled Winders/Dos and everything, but Semantic bought it and THEN discontinued it, like they did with GOBack and other good programs.
I'm only on Windows now because 1) Magic Jack promised to support Linux, but hasn't yet, but should soon
2) I have extra copies of XP still unopened
3) Linux is on my other computer, but I still have to leave this one on with Winders for the Magic Jack.

Watch out! Steve Jobs is gonna come get you for violating the OSX SLA! Woe to you, O evil Hackintosh maker!
Congrats, BTW. Sounds like you've had a fun day. I've been contemplating switching the church over to Mac, but we'd have to run Parallels since some of the software we use is Windows only, but funding that switch is a bit dodgy right now.
