Addictive little internet game

This was emailed to me with a description claiming this very basic hand-eye coordination/agility test is used by the USAF to test future fighter pilots. Supposedly if you can last 18 seconds you're phenomenal, but fighter pilots can go for longer than two minutes.
Just move the red square without hitting the moving blue shapes or the black walls.

my best so far is 14.75 seconds .... but I'm averaging about 10-11 seconds ... trick seems to be not to move too much, but to move quickly, decisively, and in a controlled manner (so as not to hit the walls) when necessary. Sorta like dodging bullets I guess

Fun! I played for a about a minute while I was on the phone. I was either getting less than half a second or around 15-17.5. It looks fun! I bet I could do better if I concentrated on it.

It's not really THAT great -- the pattern that the obstacles move is the same every time you reset and it's a non-random cycle for each object. After a few tries, you should be able to score very nicely once you can see the pattern. The pokey user input is also quite annoying.
Ok, I guess I just rained on everybody's fun, huh?

Too much fun!
I can't quite break 17 seconds, but now my wrist is tired or twitching and I hit the wall too soon and can't get past a couple seconds. I can almost memorize a pattern, but can't get past a certain point. I do better if I just ignore the pattern and keep avoiding the obstacles.
Kudos to our fine pilots that can master this little exercise.

I haven't seen this for a few years. My best times were somewhere between 60-90 seconds. I can't get past 30 seconds here at home, but my internet connection leaves much to be desired. I keep having slight lag issues. My work connection is 100x better.
