So, I am working from the house today and I was on a Skype video call to several co-workers. I look down and notice that my gun is sitting on the desk next to the laptop. It was not in view of the camera and I am not worried about discovery or anything - these particular guys wouldn't care and I don't think my employer could do anything anyway.

I was just struck by the irony of participating in a group meeting while armed which is something that would probably never happen on campus in the near future.
