Like the titles says, i am interested in a RIA Compact Tactical 1911. If you have one that you would like to sell, please PM me. I live in Houston. FFL or FTF transactions work for me.

I finally get it. Now I know what the initials RIA stand for. I thought it was a model firearm from Italy? Sometimes I'm dummer than I look?

Check out BUDSGUNSHOP used pistols...they got a ton of display guns straight from Para that are like new and very reasonably priced.

What is the "tactical" exactly? I have I think a standard compact. I don't know. Any pictures?

There is a full-sized tactical & a compact version.

The tactical includes "combat" sights instead of the small GI sights. Neither has any dots or other contrast. It also includes an ambi extended safety and lightweight trigger.

On the full-size, it also includes a beavertail grip safety and combat hammer. The compact already has both of those.

Those are the only differences I'm aware of.
